ONLY AN EXCUSE? – SALIVATION

As a new football season gets under way the Only An Excuse? team return with studs sharpened for another uncompromising kick at the beautiful game.

With an all-star cast created exclusively by Jonathan Watson, we follow the bouncing ball as it bruises egos, bursts coupons and has a late night drink with its pals in a round up of the good, the bad and the just plain mental of the Scottish game.

Football legends like Ferguson, Strachan, Smith, Dalglish and Souness. Media giants like Young, White, Nicholas, Cosgrove and Provan. Characters like Calderwood, Nevin, Burley, Spence and Laszlo. One offs like MacAvennie. All will have their say in Only an Excuse?
