A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away…

Conductor David Danzmayr brandishes his lightsabre to direct the mighty symphonic force that is the Royal Scottish National Orchestra in a spectacular evening of movie magic. From sweeping scores that have accompanied some of the most romantic tear-jerkers of all-time, to the heroic, dazzling themes that light-up Hollywood’s biggest blockbusters, there’s something for movie and music lovers alike.

The programme will feature themes from some of the best-known film soundtracks of all time, including favourites by the biggest names in Hollywood - such as John Williams – as well as popular classic music that has been used to great effect to accompany the big screen action.
