Limelight Productions Present ‘Wizard of Oz’

September 15th – 19th 2009

The magic of Oz comes to The Alhambra this Autumn with Limelight Productions’ ‘Wizard Of Oz’ - the stage version of the family favourite made famous by Judy Garland in the movie of the same name

The show brings together top talent from Fife and Edinburgh, including a cast of 70 children. This is the fourth production from Limelight, who brought “Oliver!” to the stage in 2008 and previously ‘Jekyll & Hyde’ and ‘Little Shop of Horrors’

This is the second Limelight show to be directed by founder Bobby Mitchell and choreographed by Clare Stewart. Musical direction comes from Oliver Kingsley, who makes his debut with the company this year.

This is the first theatrical production to take place in The Alhambra since 1926 and the first time Limelight have performed here, so it is a landmark production for both.
